| Our Head Golf Professional, Bob Kennedy, is a Class A member of the PGA of America and the Northeast New York PGA Section. Bob began his golf career as a caddie at Ekwanok Golf Club in Manchester, Vermont. He learned his passion for the game from area PGA professionals and knew he wanted to follow in their footsteps. After graduating from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, Bob moved to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Before joining the staff at Van Patten Golf Club, Bob worked at such courses as Palmetto Dunes Resrt in Hilton Head, SC, Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, GA, The Wianno Club in Osterville, MA, Wexford Plantation in Hilton Head, SC, and La Cita Country Club in Titusville, Florida. Instruction
The golf staff at Van Patten Golf Club offers a variety of instructional and coaching programs dedicated to golfers that are passionate about getting the most out of their golf game - whether that be lowering their score, correcting a fault, or just helping them to enjoy the game a little more. Our player development programs include individual instruction, group clinics, playing lessons and video analysis. Our PGA professionals have over 25 years of experience playing, promoting and teaching the game of golf.
The Van Patten Golf Club summer junior golf program teaches junior golfers the skills and course etiquette to make golf the game of a lifetime. Our instructional sessions include individual coaching, week long clinics, play with a pro and our advanced program the "Elite Junior Academy".
